Smartphone season started early this year. Both Samsung and Motorola have already revealed their first tray of Android phones, and there’s lots to get excited about. Samsung showed off five new Galaxy phones, including three Galaxy S10 models available for preorder right now. Motorola is prepping a new Moto G7 phone with three-day battery life, and has a separate model already up up for preorder, which comes out March 1.

With Mobile World Congress (MWC), the biggest annual mobile trade show, starting on Monday other phone makers like Sony and LG are likely to reveal their 2019 plans too. But if you just want a great phone at a good price, you don’t need to wait. We’ve dug up our favorite Android phones and cheap phones that are discounted right now.

Android Phone Deals

LG G7 ThinQ

LG

We’ve listed these in order of price and processing power. These phones are all unlocked. Most work on AT&T and T-Mobile, but if you’re on Sprint or Verizon, please make sure they operate on your network.

  • Google Pixel 3 for $730 ($69 off): The Google Pixel 3 is the Best Android Phone you can buy right now, we think. Seeing it at any discounted price is always nice.

  • Pixel 2 XL—Certified Refurbished—for $320: The Pixel 2 is also a 2017 device, but this certified refurbished unit is worth a look. Pixel phones are some of the only devices guaranteed to get security and software updates. Google guarantees updates through October 2020, and may support the phone longer. Walmart gives a 90-day warranty on refurbished products.

  • Pixel 2—Certified Refurbished—for $270: See the Pixel 2 XL notes above for details. The Pixel 2 is a smaller version of Google’s Pixel line and was our favorite Android phone until the Pixel 3 hit shelves this past autumn.

  • Motorola Moto Z2 Play for $270 ($230 off): We don’t talk about the Z2 Play a whole lot, but it’s a nice phone—and at this price, it’s worth consideration. Motorola still supports it with updates, and it should be relatively speedy for a phone this price.

  • Nokia 6.1 Unlocked for $180 ($50 off): The Nokia is a budget phone, but it doesn’t look the part, with a clean metal and glass exterior. You will notice some lag while using it, but I didn’t mind the month or so I used it as my daily driver. It’s other great quality is that it’s an Android One phone, which means it gets regular security and software updates directly from Google.

  • Motorola G6 Play for $170 ($20 off): The Moto G7 is coming out soon. The G6 is likely about half the price, but hardly half the phone. It continues to get support from Motorola and should serve you well. It is definitely a budget phone and you’ll notice some lag with the camera and other features, but it’s very usable. Read our full review here.

  • Moto X4 for $139 ($50 off): The Moto X4 has been one of our favorite budget phones since it debuted in late 2017. It’s beginning to get long in the tooth, but it’s still usable and worth a purchase if you keep your expectations in check. This is a great phone for a kid or someone who isn’t as concerned with having the latest and greatest, though it does have some great features, like waterproofing, and it works on any wireless carrier. Best Buy has it for as low as $50, depending on your carrier.

  • Xbox One X Fallout 76 Bundle for $400 ($100 off): The Xbox One X is the Xbox to own right now thanks to its 4K compatibility and extra speed. This bundle puts it well below the normal price. Fallout 76 isn’t our favorite online game, but it is fun to play for a while.

  • LG 27-Inch 4K Gaming Monitor for $350 ($100 off): This 4K monitor has FreeSync to minimize lag in games and HDR10 built into it. We have not used it ourselves, but it has high marks from buyers and we’ve had good luck with similar LG monitors.

  • PlayStation Classic for $50 ($50 off) We aren’t sure yet if this is a permanent price cut, but it’s still valid as of publishing. You can read our full write-up on the PlayStation Classic price cut here and why it may or may not be right for you.
