All ThinkGeek Items Are 75% Off, Google Speakers on Sale Now
Our favorite source of nerdy gifts, ThinkGeek.com, is shutting down its website on July 2. You’ll still be able to get “select” ThinkGeek stuff from parent company GameStop, but we suspect that things won’t be as fun. The good news is that until it shuts down, you have the opportunity to pick up anything at ThinkGeek for 75 percent off with the code LIQUIFY applied at checkout. This is up from the 50 percent-off deal it’s offered until now. To help you out, we’ve handpicked a few of our nerdy favorites, along with some other deals from around the web.
(Note: When you buy something using the retail links in our stories, we may earn a small affiliate commission. Read more about how this works.)

The Kindle Oasis, Amazon’s latest E Ink reader.
Kindle
Kindle Oasis Ebook Reader 8 GB for $200 ($50 off): The newly announced 2019 Kindle Oasis adds a warmer light, but the previous model is still a solid buy, especially now that it’s a bit cheaper. Read more about it in our Best Kindle guide.
Asus VivoBook S Laptop for $700 ($100 off): This is a good midrange laptop with an Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256-GB solid state drive. It’s capable of some light gaming.
Google Home Mini for $25 ($25 off): Google’s tiny smart speaker is a great entry into the Google Assistant smart home, or as an add-on for those who’ve already dipped their toes in Google’s ecosystem.
Google Home for $69 ($60 Off): The Google Home speaker has been out a few years (our review), but it’s still a good starter if you want to add Google Assistant to your home.
Google Nest Hub for $79 ($70 off): We liked the Google Nest Hub when we reviewed it (formerly called the Google Home Hub), but it’s a much better bargain at less than $100.
Google Home Max for $249 ($150 off): This is one of our favorite smart speakers and comes WIRED recommended.
Acer Swift 7 for $850 ($450 off): I just reviewed the brand-new version of the Acer Swift 7, and it’s a great, highly portable machine. But this previous version is still a solid laptop, and it doesn’t have the nose-cam issues of the new version.
Nikon D750 Camera Kit for $1,797 ($200 off): This camera isn’t a brand-new model, but it’s still nice to see it under $2,000. Amazon also has this deal.
