The Beats Powerbeats Pro Are $50 Off Right Now
Our favorite wireless workout buds are down to $250 to $200 right now….
I have tried a lot of wireless workout buds, but if I were in the market to upgrade my trusty Plantronics Backbeat Fit (8/10, WIRED Recommends), I would get the Beats Powerbeats Pro. My colleague Jeffrey Van Camp gave them a glowing review and I’ve been dying to try them myself. If you have been thinking about buying a new pair of stellar workout headphones, they are currently $50 off at Amazon and some other retailers right now.
They hook over your ear to keep them in place for long runs or vigorous activity. They’re IPX4-rated, or splash- and water-resistant. If you have an iPhone, they have the same painless pairing process as a pair of AirPods, but they sound much, much better. They also come with a bevy of convenient features, like auto-pausing your song or routing calls back to your phone if you take an earbud out. Battery life is also twice as good as many comparable earbuds.
Unfortunately, they don’t have a power button, so you’ll need the charging case to turn them on and off. The charging clamshell case is big and clumsy, and the earbuds themselves don’t come in the popping candy colors that attracted so many of us to Beats in the first place. But those are small prices to pay for some of the best workout buds that money can buy.

The discounted price is also available at Walmart, the Apple Store, B&H Audio, and Best Buy.
