The 49 Best Black Friday Deals for $50 or Less
Treat yourself or someone else to WIRED-recommended deals that won’t break the bank….
Nanoleaf Essentials aren’t the brightest LED bulbs out there, but we still like them, especially for this price. A 3-pack for $40 essentially gives you a free bulb—they’re usually $20 apiece, though currently on sale for $15. They made our list of the Best Smart Bulbs, thanks to their cool hexagonal design and wide array of color options.
Govee makes some of WIRED’s Favorite Smart Bulbs, and these bars are no exception. They take backlighting to new heights. The LEDs will react to onscreen visuals or music, pulsing, cycling, or executing another action of your choice from the wide array of presets. This price is one of the best WIRED has tracked. We don’t love the fact that there’s a camera built into the product with no physical privacy cover, though workarounds are possible. Read more in the in-depth review.
Target, Amazon (Out of Stock), Best Buy (Blue/White Design)
Single-serve brewers like this aren’t for everyone, but they’re awfully convenient when you need a quick pick-me-up. I, Louryn, keep one on my desk. The small serving size and quick brewing are perfect for breaking out of an afternoon slump (or staying up late on Black Friday). It also has a tiny footprint, so it won’t take up too much space. This deal brings the coffee maker down lower than we’ve previously tracked.
While it is somewhat limited, and you need an Alexa-enabled device to set it up, this smart light offers a wide range of colors and modes, including fun options like Disco and Underwater. You can enable tap control to switch colors, and you can tweak everything and turn it off remotely from the Alexa app.
Self-Care Deals
The Colgate Hum (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is the Best Electric Toothbrush for most people. It’s small, it’s cute, and it has an app that’ll help track dental hygiene habits. The app is optional, but it does dole out rewards that can be used for things like additional brush heads. This is the rechargeable version; the battery-powered version is also discounted (though it dropped to $20 for Prime Day).
Another one of our favorite electric toothbrushes, this lightweight brush is a good hybrid for more powerful brushing than a manual without too many bells, whistles, or teeth-chattering modes. The battery-operated version is also on sale for $15 ($10 off).
Several WIRED staffers use this sunscreen every day. It provides a pearly glow without a white cast or too much shimmer, and it’s lightweight enough to layer seamlessly with other skincare products. The entire Kinship site is 20 percent off.
Headspace typically costs $13 per month, but for Black Friday, it’s on sale for $5 a month. You can buy monthly memberships or get a year-long subscription for $35. It has guided meditations tailored to a variety of needs, from dealing with climate anxiety to getting better sleep. While meditation apps aren’t for everyone, we do have a guide on making the most of them.
