Sam, a personal trainer from Maidstone, told the programme he had been considering taking Sarms until learning of the BBC’s investigation. Because the drugs are so widely used in the fitness community, he had not realised they were illegal. Sam said: “I kind of just assumed that, well, if everyone else is doing it, surely it must be safe.”
