The unemployment gap between young ethnic workers and white workers is an inequality that has been with us a long time, but this data, gathered over the pandemic, shows it’s getting worse. The Resolution Foundation has broken down the data showing unemployment levels for young black and young Asian workers separately, showing where the disproportionality is greatest. If that category were broken down further it could help reveal more differences within those ethnic groups.
