Home Theater Deals
This late-model TCL TV has a quantum dot display, local dimming, and Google TV built in. It’s a bit smaller than the now-standard 55-inch size, but that makes it a great option for smaller spaces like bedrooms, or if you just don’t have a huge spot in your home or apartment. This is a very solid TV for below $400.
Sony makes some of the prettiest TVs around, and this gorgeous OLED is no exception. We loved the predecessor to this TV, and the processing is only improved on the 2021 model. With deep blacks and Google TV built-in, it’s easy to enjoy your favorite flicks like never before.
You won’t get totally immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound, but this 7.1-channel soundbar from Samsung is a great option if you want to feel more in the middle of the action than you can with a standard bar. It comes with a wireless subwoofer and two surrounds, so you’ll hear cars and spaceships whirring behind your head during action movies and video games.
Home and Office Deals
Our main beef with the 2021 iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) was that it cost too much at launch. With a 20 percent discount, this sleek, smol tablet is now a great buy for those who don’t want a huge screen to lug around. We still wish it had a headphone jack, though.
Screen real estate is valuable, especially for those of us who work from home. Take it from the WIRED team: Ultrawides are amazing, and you should own one. This model is a solid deal right now, and it comes with AMD Freesync built in, so you can game on it with AMD video cards at variable frame rates—great for older computers.
We’re big fans of the Ember mug and its temperature-regulating wizardry. If you’re the type of person who is always getting distracted while drinking hot beverages at your desk, this is a solid solution.
You’ve probably seen a version of this mixer on the kitchen counter of every prolific baker in your life. If you’ve been eyeing one, here’s your chance. Just think about telling your grandkids of your sweet, sweet score when it still runs 50 years from now.
Digital photo frames are a great way to keep updated photos of your loved ones on hand, and they’ve gotten pretty damn impressive. We’re fans of these Aura frames because of their hyper-realistic displays. We’ve had guests who thought they were looking at real photo prints.
If you’ve got aches and pains from sitting in an office chair for hours a day (or from, you know, actual physical activity) a Theragun (also known as a percussive massager) can be a game-changer. They can be expensive, though, so this mini version is a good way to dip your toes into the muscle-relaxing waters.
Headphone Deals
The Beats Fit Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends) are my favorite headphones for iPhone owners. They have all the same benefits of Apple’s AirPods Pro—noise canceling, good sound, instant pairing—plus a more comfortable fit and more rugged design. Built-in ear fins means they won’t fall out!
It’s not on our Best Wireless Gaming Headsets list, but this model has solid specs. It simulates 7.1 surround sound, which makes it easy to hear the footsteps of opposing players in online shooters. You can even change the color of the LEDs on the outside of each ear cup.
Jabra’s rugged wireless earbuds feature noise canceling, a super comfortable design, and a two-year warranty against defects. They have an Airpods Pro-beating 5.5 hours of battery life with noise canceling enabled, and I prefer their more flat sound signature to Apple’s hi-fi style.
