It’s Samsung’s 50th anniversary, and the company is celebrating with a deals event that runs through November 1. Everything from Samsung’s brand-new Galaxy Z Fold4 folding smartphone to its QLED 8K Smart TV is on sale. Some items will stay discounted all week, but the company is offering a few exclusive daily deals until the event ends, so make sure to check back if the device you want isn’t on sale just yet. Here are a few of the best deals right now.
Special offer for Gear readers: Get a 1-year subscription to WIRED for $5 ($25 off). This includes unlimited access to WIRED.com and our print magazine (if you’d like). Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.
A Note on Trade-In Deals
The deals we’ve picked below list the standard discount pricing if you do not have a device to trade in, but you can get a significantly lower price for nearly everything if you use Samsung’s trade-in program. Samsung accepts phones, tablets, and smartwatches from a variety of brands—in good condition and even if they’re cracked—so you have some options. However, you should always check elsewhere first to see if you can get more for your device. We have a few recommendations on services and websites you can use right here. Make sure you factory-reset your old device before you trade it in.
Note that Samsung says that if you do not send in your trade-in device, or if it doesn’t meet the eligibility requirements, the company “reserves the right to disable your new Samsung product remotely.”
Smartphone and Tablet Deals

The brand-new Fold4 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is for anyone who wants to live on the edge of smartphone technology. You get a large tablet-like screen when you open this device—great for multitasking with multiple app windows or for just watching your favorite show in bed. Close it and you can still access normal phone functions on the exterior screen. It’s a chunky device, but that’s a sacrifice you’ll have to make for all that tech. This deal is also available at Amazon.
I miss the dramatics of physically hanging up a phone at the end of a conversation. If you’re looking for that “slamming your phone shut” moment, the Flip4 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) might be for you. It looks like a normal smartphone, but it folds in half to become a really compact device in your bag or pocket. And yes, you can end calls by closing the device.
Want to spend as little as possible? You can usually find the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G (8/10, WIRED Recommends) on sale for around this price, but that doesn’t stop it from being a good deal. It’s got a bright, 120-Hz screen, more than a day of battery life, a decent camera, and solid performance. Plus, Samsung will support it with four OS upgrades and five years of security updates. That’s rare for a phone at this price.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the most extra Android tablet you can find. It’s positively massive, with a 14.6-inch AMOLED screen, and it has all the high-end specs, like a 120-Hz screen refresh rate. Inside is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset too, so it has heaps of power. You can get some light work done with Samsung’s DeX mode. And while Android on a tablet has some quirks, Google has plans to improve the platform over the course of the year, so this machine should get better with time. This deal is also available at Amazon.
The S8 Ultra is overkill, so most people should stick with the Tab S8+. You get a large, 12.4-inch AMOLED screen and many of the same specs as its pricier sibling. If you’re after a large-screen iPad Pro alternative, this is it. This deal is also available at Amazon.
TV and Soundbar Deals

HW-Q990B (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a terrible name for a product, but this is an amazing soundbar. The wireless Dolby Atmos sound can fill a room with clear dialog and crisp music. It’s like a traditional home theater setup without all the complications.
It may sound vain, but the Samsung QN900B (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is really pretty. The screen is thin, yet you get an uncompromising visual spectacle. With its 8K resolution, you’re getting the most detailed, colorful picture and the highest quality processing available. The only downsides: Samsung’s interface isn’t great, and there’s not much 8K content to consume … yet. This deal is also available at Amazon.
The Samsung QN90B (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is perfect for anyone with really bright rooms, because this TV can get incredibly bright to eliminate pesky glares. The mini LED backlighting provides great contrast, it’s easy to set up, and it supports a 120-Hz screen refresh rate for all your favorite games. This deal is also available at Amazon.
