With the headline, “Paw-Inspiring”, the Daily Mirror says donations to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in London look set to hit six figures this weekend, after a tribute fund was set up in memory of its ambassador, Paul O’Grady. The entertainer and broadcaster died suddenly on Tuesday aged 67. Battersea’s chief executive, Paul Laurie, has told the paper he was “overwhelmed and touched” after £90,000 was raised.
