
Starting in iOS 26, Apple is introducing new features to AirPods that will make it easier for content creators to capture high-quality audio and remotely control video recording.
AirPods Pro are getting high-quality audio & camera remote features
In an update released later this year, the Cupertino tech giant is adding new content creator-focused features to AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and AirPods Pro 2. The features are tailored toward those making videos and other content on the go.
For example, AirPods users will be able to capture studio-quality audio recording with a new Voice Isolation feature that takes advantage of the H2 chipset, beamforming microphones, and computational audio. According to Apple, the feature will allow for “more natural vocal texture and clarity” across apps like FaceTime, Voice Memos, and third-party apps with CallKit functionality.
