visionOS 2.6 arrives with bug fixes as better visionOS 26 update looms

There’s nothing to the new visionOS 2.6 release beyond bug fixes, but it may be the last major operating system update before visionOS 26 launches in the fall.

visionOS 2.6 is a bug fix update

visionOS 2.6 is one of Apple’s final point updates before the fall OS 26 rollout. Like the other point releases out today, it is primarily a bug fix update.

While there’s a chance a visionOS 2.7 update could arrive, it’s fairly small. Apple’s focus is on getting visionOS 26 through the beta period so it can release at the end of September.
