
Apple TV+ has announced a five-part documentary about filmmaker Martin Scorsese, featuring candid interviews with him, Steven Spielberg and more.

Martin Scorsese’s rather epic career in film has seen him work for Apple to make “Killers of the Flower Moon,” and heard Robert DeNiro complain about Apple TV+ censoring his tribute to the filmmaker. Now Apple TV+ and writer/director Rebecca Miller have produced “Mr. Scorsese,” a five-part documentary series about him.
“This project is a filmmaker’s dream, to have had such access to legends of the industry, from Marty himself to his prolific collaborators, close friends and family members,” said Miller in a statement. “I was honored he trusted me to create this documentary, which I believe will resonate with everyone from dedicated Scorsese fans to anyone who has grappled with failure and reached for stars.”
