
Apple has released an update for iOS 18.6.2, iPadOS 18.6.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.6.1, in what is probably one of the last granular operating system updates before the release of iOS 26.

Apple is currently working on two development tracks for its operating systems. While most of the attention is focused on the 26-generation OS updates arriving in the fall, Apple is also creating updates for its current-gen releases.
On Wednesday, Apple released iOS 18.6.2 and iPadOS 18.6.2 to the public. At this time, it is unclear what exactly has been changed in the update, but granular updates tend to include security changes and performance improvements.
