Apple has owned the audio accessory company Beats Electronics for well over a decade, having purchased it all the way back in August 2014. While the Beats streaming service was integrated into Apple Music, its headphones are still sold under the same iconic brand, albeit under the Apple umbrella.
As a result, it’s not uncommon to see references to upcoming Beats products in Apple code. Currently, Apple appears to be working on new colors for its existing products, though, according to a MacRumors report, and the information originates from Apple code.
