
Right on schedule, the annual report that Apple is cutting iPhone orders is in. This time, it’s supposedly the fault of the iPhone Air‘s weak demand, although with no actual evidence.

As the delayed release of the iPhone Air in China is said to have sold out in moments, another report claims that the device is a relative failure. It’s not the first claim that demand is less than Apple predicted, but it is the first to specify how Apple is responding.
According to Mizuho Securities of Japan — as spotted by The Elec, Apple is revising its manufacturing orders. By the end of 2025, the claim says that Apple will order:
